5.    «  Industry of the future » : 100th anniversary of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ)

In order to celebrate their 100th anniversary, FCCQ has organized on October 22, 2009, an exciting conference called « Tomorrow’s Business ». The presentations were given by leaders of the industry and government.  Their presentations were aimed first at medium size and big corporations. Nevertheless, certain important points were discussed and are worth informing our members.

A survey by Léger et Léger made on more than 700 industry leaders indicated that 70%  of  them were optimistic about their situation and the context of the economy in Quebec.

Leaders of the business community in Quebec expressed the fact that the industry of the future must be innovative and attentive to their clients changing needs. Alliances must be created and knowledge of human resources put in contribution for success.

As expressed in the last 2009 CAQ convention «Pistes de succès » held in Bromont, our organization supports this optimism and continues to believe that leadership remains the best solution in the actual context.
